New Pet
07/12/2019
A stray cat came wondering through my yard looked right at me and started meowing. As if to be asking for help. He was very skinny. I supplied fresh water and food. He hissed at me but was very hungry. Kinda a wild cat couldn't pet him for about three weeks. Took a while to get him calmed down. Once he started to trust me I was able to pick him up. So, the next thing for me to do was to get a carry kennel to take him to the vet. The extra expense wasn't really planned for. I think he kinda adopted me and then I adopted him.
So, about a hundred dollars later........Rabies shots, vaccinations, deworming meds, carry kennel, litter box, litter, toys...I now have a cat. He s now house broken and basically a lap cat. He follows me around like a puppy. Me and mom was talking about him and trying to figure out a name. We where laughing and decided a good name would be Catchem. One because he hunts but the funny part is to drive the neighbors crazy by getting out in the yard calling for the cat Catchem, Catchem. A little bit of an inside joke you would have to know the neighbors and well to give them something else to talk about. We imagined them saying that crazy women is out there yelling catchem, catchem. Me and mom was laughing so hard. Guess what, that's his name now. A domestic short hair orange tabby. Here's some pictures. Oops, hanging on trying to upload pictures. Will try to update post a little later. So, check back for pictures and modifications to this post.
