The bird in the previous post that I couldn't identify was a great commorant. With the help of Sister Patrice. Here's another look below. I don't think it's very popular in this area but is noted to be increasing in number and has been seen near large lakes inland. I was surprised to see one in Tennessee.

You may want to check out iNaturalist (https://www.inaturalist.org). It's a website for naturalists. You can take pictures fo things you see in nature, which you can then share to find out what it is.
