Rainy Days
The last few days have been rainy so not much done to complete my landscape timbers. I only have a few more things to do. Next then I'm moving on to help my mom do hers. I still need to finish the raise flower bed, buy dirt to fill it, some more white marbles for the walk way. It's going to take a lot of dirt once I get it built. I should have enough mulch left over for the raise flower bed without having to buy anymore. I'm just doing it a little at time. That's basically all I can do.
My azalea bushes are starting bloom out with all the rain. I have several nasturtiums coming up from seeds. I planted a lot of different flower seeds some I got from last years plants. I'm hoping they will come up. I have a lot of daisy types of flowers seeds....Blue Eyed Beauties, Alaskan Shasta Daisies, Gazania Punch Bowl Hybrid's, and few others. Along with my usual dwarf sun flowers, morning glories, and 4 o'clocks. If all my seeds actually come up I'm going to have more flowers than what I'm going to know what to do with. I can always pot some and give to my friends.
Of course I took pictures of my azalea bushes.... I'll post some below. Oh, just another thing to share, the waspers are terrible this year. I got stung yesterday, it flew up under my hoodie jacket and stung me on my stomach. Yep a big red place this morning and blister where it stung. Thank goodness I'm not allergic. Mom gave me a big can of wasp spray and she has them swarming around her porch. One good thing though I've seen more honey bee's this year already than last year. Last year I only seen one honey bee the whole year. I've already seen a dozen or so this year. Maybe the honey bee is making a rebound. Wasps are known to attack honey bee's. So, I plan on spraying those boogers when I get a chance. Picked up a metal flower bed stake for the fourth of July. I already put it out. I'm starting to look very patriotic. I also liked that it says In God We Trust.
